Honors & Academic Programs

Mays Business School offers many ways for you to enhance your bachelor's degree through more in-depth academic programs. These include:

Business Honors Program

The Business Honors Program offers a dynamic environment for learning and growth. Through small classes, you will have close interaction with faculty and your peers. You are eligible to apply for the program either as a senior in high school or after the first semester of your freshman year. Selection for the program is very competitive and based on multiple criteria, such as your completed application, SAT/ACT scores, class rank, AP/honors courses taken, grade point average and extra-curricular activities.

Professional Program

The Professional Program is a highly competitive program enabling you to earn two degrees in five years. Through this combined program, you would earn a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in the area of your choice – accounting, finance, management information systems or marketing. Certificate Programs

By participating in one of our certificate programs, you will discover many opportunities to add greater value to your business degree. With the proper planning, you can incorporate the requirements needed to complete a certificate into your degree plan. Certificate in Retailing: Offered through the Center for Retailing Studies, this certificate program prepares you for a successful career through customized courses in retailing and marketing and interactive educational experiences outside the classroom.

International Certificates: All business majors have the option of supplementing their degrees with one of three international certificates offered through the Center for International Business Studies. You can earn a certificate in:

  • European Union Business
