With 5,200-acre campus located in College Station, Texas, A&M is one of the nation's largest research universities. The university has an average student body enrollment of 45,000 students. Texas A&M ranks among the top 10 U.S. institutions in enrollment of National Merit Scholars.

The Bryan/College Station area features all the conveniences of a large city, minus the traffic. Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston and San Antonio are all just a short drive away.

The 12th Man tradition was born when E. King Gill (left) was called from the stands to suit up during the 1922 Dixie Classic. Gill's willingness to help out his school is embodied by Aggie students today, who stand up during sporting events to show they are ready to help A&M if needed.
